Job Title: Senior Executive

Location: Pune

Experience: 3-5 years

Educational Qualification: CA (more than 3 yrs), or candidate with IA experience of more than 3 years

 About the department:

The Internal Audit – Risk Assurance & Advisory team supports organizations in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks. We deliver independent assurance on internal controls, compliance, and operational processes, helping clients enhance efficiency, governance, and decision-making.

Lead and monitor the execution of RAA assignments, review work for accuracy, mentor junior staff, and ensure adherence to quality standards and turnaround time.

 Role Description

Execute daily operations related to RAA assignments, including data collection, documentation, and support activities, with a strong focus on accuracy, timelines, and learning.

 1. Audit Planning & Execution Excellence

Ensure 100% delivery of internal audit engagements within defined timelines and quality expectations.

Lead planning, fieldwork, and reporting of risk-based audits across assigned clients.

Guarantee compliance of all documentation with firm policies and IIA standards.

 2. Client Relationship Management

Achieve or exceed minimum client satisfaction (CSAT) score for each audit cycle.

Act as the day-to-day liaison for client communications and issue resolution.

Develop understanding client operations to identify and suggest process improvements or advisory opportunities.

 3. Team Leadership & Development

Maintain team performance metrics, including billable utilization and engagement satisfaction.

Coach and mentor team members (Trainees, Executives, Sr. Executives), providing real-time feedback and development support.

Drive knowledge transfer and professional growth within the team.

 4. Risk Identification & Insightful Reporting

Submit audit reports with clear articulation of risks, root causes, and practical recommendations.

Lead discussions with clients on control gaps and risk areas to support impactful remediation.

Ensure that all recommendations align with client risk profiles and operational goals.

 5. Methodology & Regulatory Compliance

Ensure full adherence to internal audit methodology, risk frameworks, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Promote consistency in approach across audits while allowing flexibility for client-specific needs.

 6. Process Improvement & Innovation

Actively participate in internal process improvement, knowledge sharing, or innovation initiatives.

Recommend automation, digitization, or control enhancement opportunities based on audit insights.

Contribute to the evolution of audit practices within the team or firm.
